Thomas W. Campbell practices Yangjia Michuan Taijiquan and has had the
pleasure of learning the Kunlun sword form
from Wang Yen-nien, fourth generation master, and Robert Politzer, a long-time
student of Wang Laoshi.
The Kunlun form is one of two sword forms in this family of Yang taiji.
It generally takes 12 to 14 minutes to execute.
The favorite sword stays on the wall. It is a "Lung chuan" sword
made
during the Qing Dynasty (circa 1830-1850) at Lung Chuan Mountain in
China. It belonged to a single family for many generations and was purchased
by the previous owner on a trip to China to visit a member of that family.
