"Rising Sun" is best known through the version recorded by Eric Burdon and the Animals in 1966. According to folklorist Alan Lomax, the melody is a traditional English ballad and the lyrics were written by Kentuckians Georgia Turner and Bert Martin. The song was first recorded in the 1920s by bluesman Texas Alexander and later covered by Leadbelly, Charlie Byrd, Roy Acuff, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, Henry Mancini, Marianne Faithful, Jimi Hendrix, Judy Henske, etc.

"The KKK Took My Baby Away" is performed and produced by Thomas W. Campbell.
The song was written and originally performed by The Ramones on their 1981 album
"Pleasant Dreams". Joey said he wrote it about guitarest Johnny, who stole
his girl and married her.
